Frank Hilton Physiotherapy team was in Labasa for outreach. The aim of the visit is to identify and screen children who require paediatric postural support and mobility devices, engage with community partners to plan future outreach programmes, map out referral pathways and gather information that will enable FHO to better support children with disabilities to access education programmes at Labasa Special School.

The team was able to assess many children as well as repair and modify existing devices to better suit the child. The physio team also conducted an awareness programme for the staff of Labasa Special School on the importance of proper supportive seating and mobility devices for children.
